So my Vanilla credit card just ran out of credit. I wasn't able to get a new one and now I have a lot of debt on my credit card. It sucks because now my monthly bills are all high and I don't have any extra money to put into my savings or spend on myself. It's really annoying. I went through the same thing about five years ago when my card ran out of credit. It can be so frustrating when you can't use your card and it only has so much cash left on it.
Here's what I did to solve my problem. First, I called my credit card company to see if they could give me a refund. They didn't. Next, I decided that since I had already paid my bill for the month, I would not be paying additional charges on my account so I could transfer my debt from my credit card company to a checking account.
This worked well for me because now all my monthly bills are paid by direct debit. I have a monthly bill from the bank and then a credit card payment from Vanilla. Now all I need to do is make my card payment. Instead of writing a check every month, I simply write a note to my card company to pay my bill. It's so easy!
Then, I transferred all my credit card balances to a checking account and started saving money. I made sure that I had at least a 2% savings each month. This helped a lot because now all my monthly bills are paid automatically. Instead of struggling to make my card payments each month, I'm sure my money is going to my saving.
Also, now that my debt is paid off, I will not be tempted to go back into debt again. All this stress about my credit card bills was really stressing me out. I was getting stressed out just thinking about the money that I had to pay my credit card company each month. That's why it was so important to rid my debt as soon as possible.
In fact, today is my third month free of my card balance. I couldn't be happier! You can too easily get out of debt if you're patient and put some effort into freeing your credit card balance. There are many tools out there like the one I used. You just need to take action and save your money.
