The Brinks Prepaid MasterCard gives you cash back on all eligible purchases plus early access to free cash and direct deposit into your account. Like other prepaid credit cards, however, you will need to be vigilant about any long list of possible fees and charges.
If you decide to make a purchase with your card, the card's features allow it to be used anywhere a credit card is accepted. The card can be used at any store with a check out terminal. You don't have to carry cash with you in order to pay for your items, either.
As you may have noticed, there is no annual fee associated with the Brinks prepaid MasterCard. In fact, if you are a frequent flyer and frequently use your card, the early redemption fee will not apply to you. But, since the Brinks Prepaid card is not considered a bank card by the FDIC, you should be aware that this card will not be accepted at many retail establishments. It is best that you carry one when traveling to areas with restrictions on credit or debit card use.
Because of the prepaid nature of the card, it cannot be used at any store that accepts credit or debit cards. But there are some retailers that accept the Brinks prepaid MasterCard, such as supermarkets. In addition, some gas stations do accept Brinks. The card is not, however, accepted at grocery stores. You can carry the card at a pharmacy, however.
When shopping online, the Brinks prepaid credit card allows you to automatically earn points which can be redeemed for prizes and incentives. As you . . . . . . accumulate points, the card earns interest. But unlike most other cards, the amount of interest is very low. You will also be able to earn rewards that can add up to substantial savings over time. To get the most from the card, the key to making the most money out of it is to pay off your balance as soon as you can.
Like most prepaid credit cards, Brinks is also accepted at grocery stores. As a matter of fact, if you want to purchase items from any of these stores, the Brinks prepaid MasterCard is probably the card for you. The only thing holding it back from being a great card to use is the cash advance fee.
